Usually a showcase for emerging or currently bubbling talent, NPR’s Tiny Desk Concert series throws it back with an appearance from one the greatest all time, Big Daddy Kane. I saw Kane perform probably 10 years ago and it still stands out as one the best Rap performances I’ve ever witnessed. Watch below as he runs through “Raw,” “Smooth Operator” and “Ain’t No Half Steppin” before laying down some bonus bars live from the NPR fices over live instrumentation.
