A lot people probably thought that Diddy and Steph Curry saying they wanted to buy the NFL’s Carolina Panthers was a publicity stung. Well think again my friend. Once it became public that current Panthers owner Jerry Richardson was selling the team after coming under fire for his sexual harassment investigation Diddy instantly put his name in the hat. Followed by Steph Curry who said he wants to join Diddy in buying his hometown football team.
TMZSports caught up Steph out on the town with wife, Ayesha, to get an update on the progress being made with their latest business venture. When asked, “Are we any closer to attaining this goal being minority owners The Panthers,” Curry admitted, “closer than we were yesterday.”
He also reassured that this is a “real thing” and he’s definitely been in contact with Diddy. Now, all there is to do is let “the whole thing play out.”
