We still have a few hours until the 60th edition The Grammys tonight, but the prestigious music award ceremony has already begun revealing some this year’s winners. Among those already announced are the winners for Best Dance/Electronic Album and Recording.
The award for Best Electronic Album was taken home by the German four-piece Kraftwerk for their record 3-D The Catalogue. The electronic music pioneers won out against steep competition, such as Odesza‘s A Moment Apart and Bonobo‘s Migration.
In the category Best Electronic Recording, LCD Soundsytem took home the gold for their song “Tonite,” taken from 2017’s American Dream. Other nominees in the category included “Andromeda” by Gorillaz and “Line Sight” by Odesza.
The 2018 Grammy Awards will be hosted by James Corden, and the ceremony will be broadcast tonight at 7:30 PM ET on CBS. Stay tuned for more updates as they become available.
