Sheryl Crow joins H.E.R's 'Girls With Guitars' livestream | The Music Universe

Series continues with surprise celebrity guests

Legendary nine-time GRAMMY Award winner Sheryl Crow and other surprise guests will join tonight’s (Tues, April 28th) popular Girls With Guitars Instagram live series, curated by ten-time nominated/two-time Grammy Award winner H.E.R. LYFT partners as tonight’s sponsor to provide complimentary ride shares to medical staff on the frontline during the COVID-19 pandemic. The livestream begins at 8 pm ET.

Since the April 6th launch of the series, H.E.R.’s special guests have included Tori Kelly, Alessia Cara, Chloe x Halle, Umi, Lianna La Havas, Tiara Thomas, Nai Palm (Hiatus Kaiyote) and Melanie Faye. Previous sponsors have included Amazon Music, which donated $30k to the MusiCares COVID-19 Relief Fund, and Fender who gifted five California Series Newporter Player acoustic guitars and online Fender Play guitar lessons. In addition to her innovative Girls With Guitars series, H.E.R. has had some recent amazing television performances and appearances, including her stint as a celebrity guest judge on NBC’s Songland this past Monday. The H.E.R. recorded version of the winning song “Wrong Places (from Songland),” written by contestant Raquel Castro, judge Ryan Tedder and H.E.R., is currently No. 2 on the iTunes R&B/Soul Chart and iTunes Overall Chart. “Slide” featuring YG is currently No. 8 on the iTunes R&B/Soul Chart, marking two Top 10 songs on the chart for the gifted singer/songwriter/musician.
