Scottish producer North Sea Dialect publicizes debut album Local Guide

Glasgow’s Numbers label has introduced the discharge the debut album from Scottish producer North Sea Dialect, which arrives on November 9.

According to a press launch, the album explores “the serenity rural freedom, the facility the ocean, and the collapse trade” by way of a dense musical world “uneasy atmosphere, shimmering distortion, subdued rhythm and propulsive melody.”

Inspired by a transfer from Glasgow to the east coast Scotland, the album’s 10 tracks are designed to be listened to in a single steady sitting and have audio recorded throughout his time in transit.

The announcement arrives with three quick movies to accompany tracks ‘Mossy Cyphol’, ‘Subarctic Baltasound’ and ‘Gloup’, which characteristic gorgeous nautically-themed archive footage and unusual, poetic closed captions.
