LUX: New Wave of Contemporary Art opens October 2021 at 180 Studios

Artists including Es Devlin, Carsten Nicolai, Cecilia Begolea and Julianknxx appear in a group show that blurs the boundaries between the physical and virtual worlds.

180 Studios, SUUM Project and Fact are delighted to announce LUX, a major new exhibition of immersive art, taking place at 180 The Strand, London. The exhibition opens to the public on October 13, 2021, with tickets on sale from Tuesday, September 21.

Featuring 13 large-scale installations, LUX brings together 12 of the world’s most celebrated new media artists and collectives working with the latest audio-visual technologies to expand the boundaries of interactive and immersive art and blur the lines between the physical and virtual worlds.

Jiyoon Lee, LUX Curator and Director of SUUM Project, says“The artists in LUX are working at the very cutting-edge of digital technologies, using artificial intelligence, generative and interactive algorithms, dimensional sound and optical illusion to create a new kind of artistic experiences.”
