Country superstar adds dates to his T-Mobile Arena residency

With three years sold out shows at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, the superstar known worldwide as The King Country, is now set to expand his Strait to Vegas shows into 2020. George Strait will add two shows at T-Mobile Arena on Friday, January 31, 2020 and Saturday, February 1, 2020. Tickets go on sale on Friday, August 23rd at 10 am local time

American Express Card Members can purchase tickets before the general public beginning Friday, August 16th at 10 am through Thursday, August 22nd at 10 pm.

Strait also recently announced his return to the heartland in 2020 performances at INTRUST Bank Arena on Friday, January 24th for Visit Wichita Presents Strait to Oz and in Kansas City for Strait to the Heartland at Sprint Center on Saturday, January 25th and Sunday, January 26, 2020.

The 2020 announcements come as Strait is enjoying one the most fulfilling years his career. Just last month, the American music icon announced a limited edition special reissue his 1995 Strait Out the Box: Part 1. The best-selling box set will be available exclusively at Walmart starting September 13th.

Also, on September 13th, Strait celebrates the release the ficial soundtrack for Country Music – A Film By Ken Burns, an eight part PBS documentary spanning the history country music. Strait will join artists such as Randy Travis and The Judds on the soundtrack his signature hit “Amarillo By Morning.”

If that wasn’t enough, the Country Music Hall Fame member also released 2019’s best selling country album, Honky Tonk Time Machine, on MCA Nashville March 29th. Produced by Strait and Chuck Ainlay, the album quickly became Strait’s record-extending 27th No. 1 Billboard Country album. Comprised 12 original titles plus Strait’s version the Johnny Paycheck classic “Old Violin,” Honky Tonk Time Machine marks an incredible 30th career studio album for Strait.

Fans can still catch Strait later this year at Gillette Stadium in Foxborough, MA on August 17th; at Dickies Arena in Fort Worth, Texas on November 22-23; and four additional Strait to Vegas shows at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas on August 23-24 and December 6-7th.
