Experimental R&B artist 1010 Benja SL debuts on Young Turks

The producer and vocalist explores duality on his debut full-length launch.

1010 Benja SL, the experimental R&B artist answerable for the much-buzzed-about ‘Boofiness’ and ‘Wind Up Space’, has made his debut on London label Young Turks with Two Houses, his first full-length launch.

The title refers back to the artist’s personal dualistic tendencies: “The Two Houses are the homes of contradiction; the left and proper mind, the loving and fearing coronary heart, the lengthy and brief finish of the stick”, he explains in a press launch.

“The concept is that there’s some reduction to be discovered, some peace to be felt and shared, in these shifting moments when the margins blur and reverse concepts are capable of (or are compelled to) coexist.”

The six-track mission was completely produced by 1010 Benja SL himself, and strikes by a wide range of manufacturing kinds, together with amorous R&B on ‘Tragic X’ and crystalline lure on ‘Only One’.

Two Houses is offered to stream and obtain now. Check out the duvet artwork and tracklist under.
