Erol Alkan shares melancholic new solo monitor, 'Silver Echoes'

It options on Alkan’s first solo launch in 4 years.

Erol Alkan is releasing a uncommon solo 12″ subsequent month on his Phantasy Sound label that includes two tracks, ‘Silver Echoes’ and ‘Spectrum’.

Alkan shared an edit of ‘Silver Echoes’ at present (October 26) forward of the report’s launch on November 9, a monitor he says “has┬áthat thread of melancholy which appears to present itself in a lot of what I do”.

“Both ‘Spectrum’ and ‘Silver Echoes’ characterize totally different sides of my present strategy to DJing,” Alkan says in a press launch.

“Ever since I made a decision to deal with enjoying longer units, it instantly grew to become obvious as to the type of membership data I felt I wanted to make. I’ve all the time beloved data which have a particular fusion about them, and I really feel that ‘Spectrum’ embodies this.”

“Of all of the membership data I’ve made, these are two that got here collectively way more naturally. Perhaps it’s as a result of I made them for myself, however I hope others will discover one thing in them too.”

The two tracks are the primary new solo materials from Alkan since 2014’s ‘Sub Conscious’, which was an unique monitor on the Trash founder’s Fabriclive 77 combine. His debut solo EP, Illumination, was launched in 2013.

Last 12 months, Alkan launched a retrospective compilation of a few of his profession’s greatest remixes, Reworks Vol. 1.
