Looks like TMZ has been pushing Cardi’s buttons for a while. Cardi took to Instagram yesterday, in a now deleted post, to call out TMZ and the lies they’ve been spreading about her. TMZ gave Cardi’s team a heads up that they were about to post an article, saying that her upcoming song was a diss against Nicki Minaj. Since the information was not true, the “I Like it Singer” decided to publicly shame them for not only spreading lies, but for also following her and her daughter when she had already made it clear that she does not want to show her off at this moment in time.
Cardi then went on Instagram live to talk about multiple things, but mostly to ask people to “LET ME LIVE.” We totally understand her frustration and desire to be given the privacy that she asks for. After all, her entire life is out for the public to see and judge, so wanting to keep some of it hidden and treasured shouldn’t be swept away from her like she has no choice in it.
TMZ ended up publishing the story anyway, but at least now we know that it’s not even true. Cardi’s new song is apparently about Money and it will be out by the end of October.
We will be following up with Cardi’s battle against TMZ, so stay in touch with us to get the latest updates.
